Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport

You will be personally met by our company representative upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and transfer to The Boma Hotel in Entebbe (Mid Facility) depending on your arrival time for overnight and Dinner Meal plan: Dinner.

Day 2: Jinja Full Day Rafting

Early morning drive to Jinja for rafting, continue for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After a buffet lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids and wind the evening with BBQ snacks after rafting. Return to Kampala. Overnight at Cassia Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must. After lunch, drive to Murchison Falls with a visit to the Bomu women group for a community experience. Overnight and dinner at Murchison River Lodge (Mid facility) Meal Plan B-L-D.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park

Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschilds giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards the Murchison Falls. Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound. There you leave the boat and start your quite heavy hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the worlds longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge.

This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Overnight and dinner at Murchison River Lodge (Mid Lodge facility). Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park

After your morning breakfast ready for a boat trip to the Nile Delta that takes you between 4-5hrs, this one of the most interesting experiences in Murchison falls National Park through the extensive papyrus delta through which the Victoria Nile flows into Lake Albert. Here again there are plenty of animals and birds to see with an excellent chance of seeing the rare Shoebill. The afternoon is spent relaxing at your Lodge. Overnight and dinner at Murchison River Lodge (Mid Lodge facility). Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Murchison Falls – Lake Albert (Travel time +3hrs)

Leave Murchison for Hoima; drive at your convenience through the great escapements of Biso for a great winding scenery of Lake Albert. The afternoon is spent on sightseeing and relaxation. Overnight and meals at Lake Albert Safari Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Optional Activities at L. Albert Include: Nature walk US$ 10.00, Fishing Village Tour US$ 20.00, Horseback riding per hour US$ 20.00, Game drive US$ 20.00 but with this you pay entrance fees to the park and extra gas fees for the game drive.

Day 7: Lake Albert – Kibale Forest National Park (Travel time +5hrs)

After breakfast drive to a place that rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon with enroute lunch at your preferred local hotel or restaurant. Overnight and dinner at Primate Lodge Forest Cottages (Mid Lodge facility). Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Kibale Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

Today is dedicated for Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. Start the day with an morning early breakfast a packed lunch and you are off before dawn breaks into the forest. You meet your guide and you are off to where the chimpanzees built nests the night before. Dawn is just breaking and the chimpanzee community you are going to be with the rest of the day is rising from their sleep in the nests.

Your day will be full, your camera will fill up with quality pictures of the chimpanzees and you will get to learn to identify them as individuals by their markings, sometimes scars and other unique features that make them stand apart from rest. Besides everything described there are the most colorful butterflies, plants and trees that will amaze you the setting is simply awesome. Day 9: Kibale Queen Elizabeth National Park (Travel time +3hrs)

After an early morning breakfast, ready for Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Thereafter drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park viewing the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey at leisure. Evening relaxation and sightseeing around your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Enganzi Safari Lodge Meal Plan breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Safari Lodge (Mid facility). Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha (Travel time +2hrs)

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning games drive with Lion Tracking Experiential Research Tour along Kasenyi and Queens Mile. Other wildlife to encounter includes elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, spotted hyenas, bush bucks, stripped jackal, comical warthogs, elusive leopard, Uganda Kobs, lakes and a variety of birds. Later proceed to Ishasha sector where you will take on yet another evening game drive in search of tree climbing lions. Overnight and meals at Ishasha Jungle Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12: Ishasha – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Travel time +1.5hrs)

Early morning guided bush walk for a closer interaction with nature. The mid-morning will be spent on a game drive for the tree climbing lions. Thereafter head to Bwindi, the journey takes about 2 hours but driving through interesting features. Arrive Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is home of the rare mountain gorillas. Apart from gorillas, there are a wide variety of primates to see including the blue and red tailed monkeys. The forest itself is lush and green and there are streams running through it. Day 13: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast set off early with guides to track the gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rain forest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed World Heritage site, its one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas believed to number just 720. Theres also a substantial chimpanzee population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Time permitting, spend the afternoon on a community foot safari to explore the life style of the people living and surrounding the park. Day 14: Batwa Cultural Experience

Today is dedicated for a Batwa experience where the Batwa demonstrate hunting techniques, gather honey, point out medicinal plants and demonstrate how to make bamboo cups. Women of the community perform a sorrowful song which echoes and leaves guests with a moving sense of the richness of this fading culture. Dinner and overnight stay at Silver back Lodge (Mid Lodge) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 15: Bwindi – Rwanda Parc Volcano

After breakfast, drive to Rwanda as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known to Ruhengere via Musanze. Thereafter drive by the lakes (Ruhondo and Mutera) arriving at parc Volcanoes in the afternoon. The evening is spent on sightseeing and relaxing around the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at LeBambou Gorilla Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 16: Gorilla Trekking Parc Volcanoes

After a briefing from your guide set off to track the gorillas. Spend an hour in awe watching the Gorillas go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Day 17: Golden Monkey Trekking Parc Volcanoes

In Parc National des Volcano go track the golden monkeys and the afternoon simply relax at Camp. Dinner and overnight stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Mid facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 18: Parc Volcanoes – Uganda Kisoro

Early morning trek to Dian Fosseys grave that is on Mt. Karisimbi and Karisoke before later transferring to Uganda for dinner and an overnight stay at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (Mid Lodge facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 19: Mount Mgahinga National Park

Early morning visit the Golden Monkeys in the thick and cold jungles of Mgahinga National park. The activity is very adventurous. Day 20: Mgahinga National Park – Lake Bunyonyi Islands (Kabale)

Begin your day with a drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale a region popularly known by many tourists as the Switzerland of Africa. You will be taken by the scenery of winding road, hills and valleys, terraced landscape and friendly big people. Relaxing the whole afternoon. Day 21: Lake Bunyonyi Islands

The day begins with a boat trip for sightseeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Feel the wonders of nature as you will see big terraced hills, big valleys, big everything including big people and forests! Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch ready for a guided nature walk and cultural visit to the Batwa Pygmies community to explore their life style. Day 22: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo

After early breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Igongo cultural village, this is the place where the future meets the past. Learn more about the Ankole culture. Proceed to the park do an enroute game drive as you go to check in at your lodge. An afternoon boat ride amidst hippos is much rewarding and amazing. Day 23: Lake Mburo National Park

Morning game drive in the Park which is an is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc. The evening is spent on a bush walk for wildlife viewing. Day 24: Lake Mburo – Entebbe Out

After early breakfast, Morning is dedicated for sightseeing and relaxation; thereafter drive back to Entebbe at your convenience with a stopover at Equator crossing with your lunch enroute.
