9 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park.
Pick-up from your hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Amboseli is famous for its elephants and the majestic view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (full board).
Day 2: Amboseli National Park Safari.
Morning and afternoon game drives, enjoying the majestic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Watch the elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, lion and cheetah. Overnight at Serena Lodge. (full board).
Day 3: Amboseli / Aberdares National Park.
After breakfast, morning drive with picnic lunches en route to Aberdares National Park arriving in the mid-afternoon at Outspan Hotel and transferred in special vehicles to Treetops Lodge. Game viewing from the lodge terraces. Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge (full board).
Day 4 Treetops Lodge / Samburu Game Reserve.
After breakfast, morning drive North across the Equator to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Shaba Sarova Lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset . Samburu has very unique wildlife, such as the Grevy’s zebras, the oryx, the gerenuk and dik-dik. Its cat population is abundant with cheetah being the highlight of any safari. Dinner and overnight at Shaba Sarova Lodge (full board ).
Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve Tour.
A full day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives watching cheetahs, lions, zebras, oryx, the gerenuk. Overnight at Shaba Sarova Lodge (full board).
Day 6: Samburu / Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast morning drive down the floor of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Lion Hill Lodge. Lake Nakuru is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley. It is at the centre of Lake Nakuru National Park and is famous for its spectacular bird fauna (499 species), particularly the vast flocks of lesser flamingo. Afternoon game drive into sunset. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Sarova Lodge ( fullboard )
Day 7: Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After breakfast morning drive across the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sarova Camp. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Camp (full board).
Day 8: Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
A full day in the Mara experiencing the magical Mara air. Morning and afternoon game drives. Elephants, giraffe, prides of lion and impalas, topis, grants and Thompsons gazelles in their thousands. Overnight at Mara Sarova Camp (fullboard).
Day 9: Maasai Mara / Nairobi.
