6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Nairobi / Sweet Waters Game Sanctuary
This 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari begins with your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed by a representative from Africa Pearl Safaris and drive through the lush Kikuyu farm lands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the Sweet Waters Tented Camp/ similar in time for Lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the private sanctuary. The 24,000 Acres Sweet Waters Game Sanctuary is currently part of the Ol Pejeta conservancy. Formerly called Ol Pejeta Ranch it was a cattle ranch for breeding of beef cattle. One of the attractions of Sweet Waters is the history behind. Between 1989 and 1993, twenty-two black rhinos were introduced into Sweet waters from other sanctuaries. Today, with the birth of 29 calves the population has steadily increased, making Sweet Waters a successful breeding ground of these ancient animals. However excess animals are trans-located and the population stands at 40 animals, the carrying capacity of the sanctuary. Return to the camp in the evening in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Sweet Waters Game Sanctuary / Aberdare National Park
Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The club is the base hotel for your tree hotel-The Ark. Lunch at the club. At 1430hrs; transfer to the Ark which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the lodge.
Day 3: Aberdare / Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, transfer back to the base hotel to retrieve rest of your luggage and drive towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the lake famous for its bird life especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world renowned Masai Mara game reserve, arriving at Mara Simba Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara Safari
Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge/ Similar.
Day 6: Departure
Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon. Lunch at a city restaurant and then drop off at your hotel or depending on your flight timings, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled onward flight. Inquire Now
