4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Our guide picks you up from your place of residence in Kampala and begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to start off with a morning drive to Murchison via Masindi with lunch enroute. Continue to Murchison Falls with a visit to the Top of the falls. Enjoy the sunset as you drive to the lodge. Enjoy the superb comfort at Paraa Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) or Murchison River Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Return to your Lodge. Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Today is dedicated for another game drive at the Southern section of Murchison Falls before heading to Ziwa Sanctuary in Masindi. Evening canoe ride for the Shoebill search and relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge. Overnight and dinner at Amuka Safari Lodge Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Kampala/ Entebbe Out
Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must. After an early lunch return to Kampala with your lunch enroute where you will be dropped off to a place of your residence or Entebbe Airport at leisure where for your flight to next destination or back home.
