Day 1: Arrival Entebbe – Boma Hotel

You’ll be personally met by our company representative upon arrival at Entebbe Airport who will transfer you to the Boma Hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: (Dinner).

Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 am from your The Boma Hotel. Drive to Mbarara (283km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Proceed with a visit to Igongo Cultural village this is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum. Lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Dinner and overnight stay at Silver Back Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walkgives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Ishasha

After early breakfast head for Ishasha, which is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, carry out a game drive where you may sight tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is dominated by acacia woodland and scrubland and features the meandering Ishasha River, banked by a riparian forest. Day 5: Ishasha

After your early breakfast, ready for a morning guided nature walk for wildlife viewing. After your lunch in the afternoon you will embark on an afternoon game drive for the tree climbing lions Overnight at Ishasha Ntungwe River camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Ishasha – Mweya

Today, you will wake ready to take photographs of an African sun rise with breakfast ready. Thereafter go a a game drive to for yet another opportunity to see the hunting tree climbing lions. Proceed to Mweya section arriving in time for your lunch. Afternoon relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge, you can also feel free to spend your afternoon swimming in the pool. Overnight at Mweya safari Lodge in a Tent Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Mweya Safari Lodge

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga Channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. . Day 8: Mweya Safari Lodge

With previous day’s memories, enjoy your breakfast ready for guided Chimpanzee/primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After primate walk, you will have an afternoon game drive at Mweya Savannah. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9: Mweya Safari Lodge – Kibale Kyaninga

Morning to Maramagambo forest bat cave visit. Many surprises await you here for example pythons are often observed in the crevices of the bat cave floor using the bats as a source of food. The cave is near a picturesque formerly Blue lake and Hunters cave. You may also see forest birds such as bat hawks, brown eared woodpecker and other primates. Thereafter drive to Kibale with you lunch en route as your enjoy the winding scenery of the great mountains of the Moon. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10: Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking

After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzees in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda. It is home to our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L’hoest’s monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white colobus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos.

After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. Day 11: Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, visit the Nyakasura falls hike and crater tour visit on the other side of Fort Portal, visit “top of the world”, the natural bridge. On a clear day you will be able to have a view of the snow cap on the Rwenzori. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12: Kibale – Murchison Falls National Park

Begin the panoramic drive north through Hoima verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. After lunch, drive to Murchison Falls National Park for overnight and dinner at Sambiya River Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 13: Murchison Falls National Park Tour

Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee. After your cup of coffee, cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Day 14: Murchison Falls – Kampala

Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. Drive back to Masindi and branch off for a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and picnic lunch. Thereafter return to Kampala. Day 15: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park

Morning drive to Lake Mburo National park, arriving in the afternoon ready for your lunch at Mihingo Safari Lodge, a peaceful and exclusive retreat in Lake Mburo National Park. Day 17: Lake Mburo National Park – Mihingo

Day 18: Lake Mburo National Park – Jinja

Day 19: Rafting Jinja Whole day – Entebbe Out

Early this morning after your breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from Surjior’s guest House, arriving in time for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After a buffet lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids and wind the evening with BBQ snacks after rafting.
