Our 8 Days Uganda Tour give you a total Uganda experience of total adventure from Chimpanzee trekking in to Gorilla Tracking and finally down to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a hike to Sabinyo peak. This is one of the most excellent hikes in Uganda that offers you the greatest views of the 3 countries Uganda, Rwanda and Congo on clear days without clouds and mist. You will be able to see Lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Burundi and some peaks of Rwenzori Mountain.
8 Days Uganda Tour
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Kampala.
Your Uganda tour begins upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Serena Kampala Hotel (High end) or Cassia Lodge (Mid range) or Forest Cottages Kampala (Budget end) for an overnight and dinner. Meal plan Dinner.
Day 2: Kampala – Kibale National Park.
Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit. Meals and over night at Kyaninga Lodge/Ndali Lodge (Lodge facility) or Primate Lodge Forest Cottages (Mid Lodge) or Chimps Nest (Budget facility). A stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. Meal plan: (B, L, D).
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale Forest National Park – Bwindi.
Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (high end lodge) or Sliver back Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Mid range) or Buhoma community Bandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 4: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking.
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (high end lodge) or Sliver back Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Mid range) or Buhoma community Bandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Bwindi – Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Today is dedicated for a drive from Buhoma Bwindi through the verdant villages while enjoying the beautiful sceneries and the changing landscapes in to Kisoro with lunch en route. Afternoon sightseeing around your lodge. Overnight and meals at Mt Gahinga Lodge (Lodge facility), Kisoro Travelers Rest hotel (Mid Facility) or Kisoro Tourist Hotel (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Mgahinga Mt. Volcano Climbing.
Today is dedicated for a hike to Mgahinga Mountain. The mountain has afro-montane vegetation with cool climate and a large bamboo area. Mgahinga volcano acts as a better view point offering great views of the 3-countries Uganda, Rwanda and Congo on clear days without clouds and mist. you will be able to see lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth National park, Burundi and some peaks of Rwenzori mountain. Overnight and meals at Mt Gahinga Lodge (Lodge facility), Kisoro Travelers Rest hotel (Mid Facility) or Kisoro Tourist Hotel (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7: Bwindi Forest – Kampala / Entebbe.
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute wit stopover for your enroute lunch; thereafter proceed at the Equator Uganda. Overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe (Lodge facility), The Boma Hotel (Mid facility) or Entebbe Airport Guest House (Budget facility). Meal plan: (B, L & D).
Day 8: Airport Drop
Today is dedicated for your airport transfer depending on your flight details to your next destination or back home. Meal Plan B.
