Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Protea Hotel Entebbe for an overnight and dinner. Meal plan Dinner.

Day 2: Drive to Kitgum.

Our guide/driver picks you at from Protea Hotel Entebbe and start the panoramic drive north to Kidepo via Gulu and Lira with lunch enroute. Sightseeing en route is much reward through country side and village settings. Overnight and dinner at Kitgum Royal Hotel Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Kitgum – Kidepo Valley National park. (Travel Time 3hrs).

Morning drive to Kidepo valley National Park. The Park is a completely different world of vast plains, in spring view from every vantage point, with a lot of wildlife as you drive into the park. Kidepo offers breathtaking open savannah which is surrounded by spectacular mountain landscape nowhere to be seen in Africa! Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda’s second biggest National Park one of Africa’s finest wilderness areas, This day is dedicated for game drive in the Narus valley in search for the lions, Jackson hartebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, leopard and cheetah . Day 4: Full Day in Kidepo National Park.

Early morning for breakfast, catch the sun rise behind the mountain before flooding the valley then off for the game drive to the ostrich farm it not any man made occurrence, but given the massive number of the birds one would compare it to this along the we shall be able to view, herds of elephants, cape buffaloes, giraffes, lions and then the hot springs at Kanangorok, lunch at Apoka safari lodge. Have another evening game drive experience for wildlife and game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge at Apoka safari lodge Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5: Kidepo National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be joined by an expert ranger guide for a nature walk to explore the park on foot away from the steel clad of safari car sharing his knowledge of the eco-system and also bring you closure to the animals and for birders, look out for Fox Kestrel, Eastern Chanting Goshawk, Grasshopper Buzzard, Montague’s Harrier, Fan Tailed Raven and the very rare Stone Partridge. The afternoon is spent on a visit to the Ike & Kjong Community (at Karenga and Kapedo ) to learn and share their life style. Learn about their traditional living, way of life and if possible engage in their day to day activities. Overnight stay at Apoka safari lodge Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Kidepo National Park – Hoima (Travel Time +7hrs).

Today, leave Kidepo for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop over at Hoima driving through Kitgum, Gulu Kamudini Bweyale to Kigumba to Hoima Overnight stay at Hoima Cultural Safari Lodge Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Hoima Queen Elizabeth National Park

At 7:30 am from your hotel, drives through the countryside in to Fort Portal. Make the first stop over at for Lunch. Proceed as you enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Mt. Rwenzori in to Queen enables visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery, ready for an evening mini game drive en route to your Lodge Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking & Boat Ride Queen Elizabeth National Park

With previous day’s memories, enjoy your breakfast ready for guided Chimpanzee/primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. Thereafter set for a two hour Boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Bufallo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha Sector

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Thereafter drive through the Ishasha Sector; this takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. The evening is spent on a game drive in Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions. Overnight at Ishasha Wildness Camp Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10: Ishasha – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Morning guided bush walk in Ishasha to appreciate nature and a mid morning tree climbing game drive before proceeding to Bwindi forest National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 11: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Safari

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National park for an evening game drive. The park is renowned for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, topi and elands including the rare shoebill, crested crane, pelicans, fish eagle, heron and many water birds. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge (Lodge facility). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 13: Lake Mburo National Park

Morning bush walk and game drive in the Park which is an is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc. Afternoon boat cruise amidst the Hippos is amazing. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge (Lodge facility). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park – Return to Entebbe and fly out

Return to Entebbe for your out bound flight back home with lunch enroute. Meal plan: (B & L)
