Most non-African passport holders visiting Uganda require Visas. All persons intending to come to Uganda for holiday, tourism, business, study, visit, medical are required to apply and obtain a visa online. Applications should be filled at the following link: https://visas.immigration.go.ug/.

The Visas availed online include six month Multiple-Entry multiple entry valid for 90 days to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda, Diplomatic and Official, three month Ordinary Visa, East Africa Tourist Visa and Transit Visa.

The decision taken on the application is sent electronically through the email provided by the applicant. If approved, an approval letter is sent as an attachment to the email provided. The prospective visitor simply prints it out and presents it together with a valid passport / travel document at the port of entry.

For Visa Extensions, visitors are required to pay a visit to the Immigration office of Ministry of internal affairs or follow the prompts online.
