Kanombe Airport – Kigali
Arrive Kanombe Airport - Rwanda. Meet and greet with an African Pearl Safaris representative before transferring to Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel des Mille Collines / Chez Lando.

| Day 2: |
Kigali – Ruhengeri – Kinigi
After breakfast take on a city tour that will also take you around the genocide sites. Lunch break then drive north to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. The 2 hour drive goes through beautiful hillsides that Rwanda has become well known for. Dinner and overnight stay at Kinigi Guest House / Gorilla Nest Lodge.

| Day 3: |
| Parc National des Volcans (Translated as Volcano’s National Park)
After a briefing from your guide set off to track the gorillas. Spend an hour in awe watching the Gorillas go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to Kinigi Guest House/ Gorilla Nest Lodge for dinner and an over night stay.

Volcano’s National Park (Rwanda) – Kisoro (Uganda)
Early morning visit the Golden Monkeys before later transferring to Uganda for dinner and an overnight stay at Kisoro Traveler’s Rest Hotel / Heritage Guest House.

| Day 5: |
Kisoro – Nkuringo (BWINDI FOREST)
This is the day for Gorilla tracking. You will be driven to the starting point of tracking - Nkuringo. After a briefing from your park guide, you will set off to look for Gorillas (Nkuringo group) in Bwindi - Impenetrable Forest. This is home of the last remaining habitats of the mountain gorillas. It is estimated that half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas live within Bwindi boundaries, making it the most important stronghold of this magnificent species.
Some other primates and rich variety of Flora and Fauna also inhabit this exceptional Park.
The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of a potentially strenuous trek. Spend an hour in awe watching the Gorillas go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Later transfer back to your lodge /hotel to relieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Dinner and overnight at Kisoro Traveler’s Rest Hotel / Heritage Guest House.

| Day 6: |
Kisoro – Kabale (Lake Bunyonyi)
After breakfast, drive to Kabale where you will have your lunch. Take on an afternoon boat ride to some of the islands on the lake. The boat ride is most likely to yield sightings of rare bird species. Have the evening at leisure (taking it easy) as you enjoy the scenic lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and over night stay at Bunyonyi Overland Resort / Arcadia Cottages / Heritage Lodge – Habuharo Island. |
| Day 7: |
Kabale – Kampala
Late breakfast then head to Kampala. The drive takes you through beautifully terraced / undulating hills whose common sight are the famous Ankole long horned cattle. Stop over for lunch enroute and at the Equator for a photo shoot and souvenirs before proceeding to Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay at Emin Pasha Hotel / Humura Resort /Forest Cottages / Speke Hotel / Fairway Hotel. |
| Day 8: |
Kampala City Tour
Your driver/ guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala at 8:30 am from where you will start the drive through Kampala City. The drive takes you to Rubaga and Namirembe Cathedrals which have a spectacular view of the city. The to Kabaka’s Lake, Kasubi Tombs and to the National Museum.
Lunch break then drive to Namugongo martyrs shrine before heading back to town where you could visit any of the craft “villages”. Dinner and an overnight stay at Emin Pasha Hotel / Humura Resort /Forest Cottages / Speke Hotel / Fairway Hotel.

Kampala – Entebbe International Airport
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport from where you will catch up with your home bound flight. |
