KENYA, TANZANIA & UGANDA

Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Hotel in Nairobi
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet & greet with our representative before transferring to your hotel in Nairobi for over night stay (B/B).

Day 2: Nairobi – Nakuru
Your driver /guide will pick you up from your hotel by 9 am, from where we will drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to Lake Nakuru. Lunch break followed by an extensive afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 3: Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive to the world’s famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving by lunchtime. Enjoy a game drive at 1600hrs in search of wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 4: Maasai Mara
From the camp / lodge, we explore the Mara region, packed with the elephant, zebra, rhino and all kinds of game through out the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five. Dinner and overnight (B/L/D).

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Depart Camp / lodge and drive through the reserve viewing game as you proceed to the main Narok road. Stop over at Narok or any other craft display centre for souvenirs before proceeding to Nairobi where you will be dropped at your hotel (B/L/D).

Day 6: Hotel – Jomo Kenyatta Airport – Kilimanjaro Airport
Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel from where you will transfer to the Airport so as to catch up with your connecting flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet & greet with our other representative before being transferred to your hotel for over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 7: Kilimanjaro – Lake Manyara
Driver /guide will pick you up at 08h00 hours from your hotel from where you will depart for Lake Manyara, via Arusha. Have a picnic lunch prior to taking on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 8: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park, with a game drive and picnic lunch enroute. Later in the afternoon, take on a short game drive in Serengeti National Park. Have the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 9: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast spend the day in Serengeti National Park. Take on an early morning, mid and afternoon game drive. Have the evening at leisure (taking it easy) B/L/D).

Day 10: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Rise early for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After lunch depart for Ngorongoro Crater Rim, with a stop over for a game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend to the Crater floor for full day game drive. Have lunch at hippo pool picnic site; ascend to the rim. Dinner and overnight stay (B/L/D).

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast departure for Arusha with picnic lunch and transfer to Airport connect with flight to Entebbe, upon arrival in Uganda, meet and greet with our representative before transfer to Kampala for dinner.

Day 13: Arusha – Entebbe International Airport
Transfer to the Airport from where you will catch up with a flight to Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival in Uganda, meet and greet with our representative before transfer to Kampala for dinner and over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 14: Kampala – Kibale National Park Uganda Safari
After breakfast, you will drive to Fort Portal. Lunch break then visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary / take on a guided walk around Magombe Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects.
Later transfer to Kibale forest National Park. Kibale National Park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Uganda. It is home to our closest relative – the endangered Chimpanzee. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species that include the threatened Red Colobus monkey, I’hoesti monkey Blue monkey, Grey Cheeked, Velvet and the Black / White Colobus monkeys. Dinner and over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 15: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee.
Later drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will drive along the Rwenzori ranges and Savanna grasslands. Queen Elizabeth National park boasts of a variety of big game like; lions, elephants, buffaloes, Hyenas, Hippos, bushbucks, the comical warthogs and rare / elusive leopards.

Day 16: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Before sunrise embark on an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will most likely to meet grazing Hippos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, waterbucks, the elusive leopard and of course the several warthogs.
Lunch break then drive to the dock on the channel for an afternoon launch cruise on Kazinga channel that joins Lakes Edward and George. It is a waterway that is filled with schools of hippos and elephants, buffalos which can be seen at the banks. There is also a rich variety of birds on the channel. Day 17: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast check out of the lodge / hostel and drive to Bwindi Forest National park.
This drive to Bwindi takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. Bwindi National park is home of the rare mountain gorillas and other primates. Apart from gorillas, there are a wide variety of primates that may be seen. The forest itself is lush and green and there are streams running through it.

Day 18: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast set off early with your guides to track the gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed world heritage site, its one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas – believed to number about 600. There is also a substantial chimpanzee population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Return to camp exhilarated to relieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Overnight at your lodge/ hotel / hostel/ Rest camp for an over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 19: Bwindi National Park – Kabale (Lake Bunyonyi)
After breakfast, transfer to Kabale where you will have your lunch. Take on an afternoon boat ride to some of the islands on the lake. The boat ride is most likely to yield sightings of rare bird species. Have the evening at leisure as you enjoy the scenic lake Bunyonyi. Over night stay at your lodge/ hotel / hostel/ Rest camp for an over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 20: Kabale – Kampala
After breakfast, return to Kampala with lunch en-route. Along the way you will be able to see banana plantations, undulating hills and the Ankole long-horned cattle. Stop over at the Equator for a photo shoot and at Mpambire local drum makers or any other crafts display centre for souvenirs before proceeding to Kampala. Overnight at your lodge/ hotel / hostel for an over night stay (B/L/D).

Day 21: Kampala – Entebbe International Airport

Transfer to Entebbe International Airport from where you will catch up with your home bound flight (B). End of our Services.
