Day 1: Kampala – Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park with lunch en route. Kibale National Park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Uganda. It is home tour closest relative – the endangered Chimpanzee. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species that include the threatened Red Colobus monkey, I’hoest’s monkey Blue monkey, Grey Cheeked, Velvet and the Black / White Colobus monkeys. Lunch break then visit Nyakasura where you will be able to see stalagmites and Stalactites that are locally referred to as “Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru”. Dinner and overnight stay at Primate Lodge-Forest cottages. (Mid Lodge facility) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda. This is home of our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L’hoest’s monkey.

The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white colobus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary / take on a guided walk around Magombe Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects.

Later drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will drive along the Rwenzori ranges and Savanna grasslands. Queen Elizabeth National park. The park boasts a variety of big game like; lions, elephants, buffaloes, Hyenas, Hippos, bushbucks, the comical warthogs and rare / elusive leopards. Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Before sunrise embark on an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will most likely to meet grazing Hippos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, bush bucks, water bucks, the elusive leopard and of course the several warthogs.
Lunch break then drive to the dock on the channel for an afternoon launch cruise on Kazinga channel that joins Lakes Edward and George. It is a waterway that is filled with schools of hippos and elephants, buffaloes which can be seen at the banks. There is also a rich variety of birds on the channel. Day 4: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast check out of the lodge and drive to Bwindi Forest National park via Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park. This area is famous for the tree climbing lions, have a game drive which with luck you may be spot on the large fig trees. Proceed to Bwindi through the unique western rift valley escarpment. Bwindi National park is home of the rare mountain gorillas and other primates. Apart from gorillas, there are a wide variety of primates that may be seen. The forest itself is lush and green and there are streams running through it. Dinner and overnight stay at Sliver back Lodge (Mid range) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla trekking

After breakfast set off early with your guides to track the gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rain forest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed world heritage site, it’s one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas believed to number about 720. There is also a substantial chimpanzee population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Return to camp exhilarated to relieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Dinner and overnight stay at Sliver back Lodge (Mid range) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kabale (Lake Bunyonyi)

After breakfast, transfer to Kabale where you will have your lunch. Take on an afternoon boat ride to some of the islands on the lake. The boat ride is most likely to yield sightings of rare bird species.
Have the evening at leisure (taking it easy) as you enjoy the scenic lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and over night at Bunyonyi Safari Resort (Mid Lodge facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 7:Kabale (Lake Bunyonyi) – Rwanda

Late breakfast with a community village walk, and then transfer to Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay Le Bambou Gorilla Safari Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 8:Parc National des Volcans Gorilla trekking

Early breakfast, with your guide visit Parc National des Volcans for gorilla trekking. Be prepared for yet another arduous day in the jungle. Spend an hour with the gorillas before returning. Dinner and overnight stay Le’ Bambou Gorilla Safari Lodge (Mid Lodge facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 9: Parc National des Volcans – Kigali

Drive south to Kigali. The drive to Kigali takes you through beautiful hills that are well known for Rwanda ready for a Kigali City trip that includes a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi, which takes a few hours. Transfer to the airport for your flight. Meal plan Breakfast & Lunch End of Safari.
