Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

Pick up from your hotel or place of residence. Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must and very rewarding. After lunch, drive to Murchison Falls National Park, a visit to the Boomu Women community project to explore and interact with them and also buy African souvenirs. Later proceed to Budongo forest for overnight and dinner at Budongo Forest Eco Lodge. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Budongo Forests – Murchison Falls

Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early guided nature walk through well developed forest trails giving you the perfect opportunity to explore the beauty of the tropical rain forest. Learn more about the eco-system pass the old Mahogany trees and encounter different species of butterflies and countless birds on your path. Later return and proceed for an evening boat trip towards the Murchison Falls. Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound, a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest National Park

Begin your day with a cup of African coffee, ready for a taste of a mini game drive, your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor Reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard, cross the ferry at 9:00 am for a drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Day 4 : Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today is dedicated for a community visit in Kibale region, a visit to Nyakasura local community projects and the Virika Hospital in Fort Portal will be much memorable. Explore the local markets and towns with Fort Portal thereafter drive to drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. . Dinner and overnight at Ihamba Safari Lodge on the edge of Queen Elizabeth national Park (budget/basic accommodation). Meal plan: (B, L, D)

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. A visit to the bat Cave close to Maramagambo forest or a glance of Kyambura gorge is a must! Make a game drive at Ishasha on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree climbing lions. Later, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. Day 7: Optional Gorilla Trekking (Bwindi Buhoma – Nkuringo Side)

You may choose to enjoy the most thrilling Gorilla trekking adventure or choose to have a guided nature walk to explore the great jungles of Bwindi forests. You will encounter many primates including the vervet monkeys, black and white, Red tailed monkey among others. A variety of beautiful species of birds will be encountered plus many butterflies. After your nature walk, ready to visit Bwindi community Hospital to make a few donations and help the needy to have a better living. Thereafter proceed with a drive to Kisoro Nkuringo. Day 8: Wagtail Camp – Nkuringo Gorilla Camp (Nkuringo Walking Safari)

Today is dedicated for Nkuringo Safari walk, that will enable you experience wondrous views from Nkuringo and Visits to rural homesteads and various communities. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp. Meal plan: (B, L, D)

Day 9: Nkuringo Gorilla Camp – Rwanda

After breakfast, drive to Rwanda as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known to Ruhengere via Musanze with a community or village walk. Thereafter drive by the lakes (Ruhondo and Mutera) arriving Kigali in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Select Kigali. Day 10 : Rwanda City Tour

After your African cup of coffee, ready for a drive to visit of Kigali city which includes the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi. The Kigali City tour will enable you visit the colorful markets, genocide memorials and craft centers are the main areas of interest. In Rwanda you will find all over the country Memorials to remember the genocide of 1994. Where the history of the genocide is explained. A visit to the genocide memorial is for most visitors an emotional event. Lunch at any local restaurants in Kigali. Evening drive around Kigali town for simple shopping and sightseeing especially visiting towns of Kacyiru, Nyamirambo. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Select Kigali Meal Plan (B, L, D)

Day 11: Rwanda – Uganda Lake Mburo

After breakfast, drive to back to Uganda via Kabale for a stopover for your lunch. Thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo via the verdant country sides of Lake Bunyonyi for sightseeing arriving in Mburo National Park during sunset .Overnight at Mihingo Safari Lodge. Meal plan: (B, L, D)

Day 12: Lake Mburo – Entebbe – OUT

After an early breakfast, you will take an interesting safari bush walk, this park boosts of the best Nature walks in all parks and it’s only this park that you can see Game/wild life on a walk. Return to Kampala after lunch with stopover at Igongo cultural centre and Equator Uganda crossing a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs.
